If you looked at game film from last season to this season, one thing was missing in the Viking's offense.

A deep threat.

With Sydney Rice injured and out for the majority of the 2010 season, and the Vikings in desperate need of help for quarterback Brett Favre they did what any team in need would do.

Grab the best guy available.

After many unsuccessful attempts at prying Vincent Jackson away from the Chargers, the Vikings turned to a familiar player in Randy Moss.

I mean, who could blame them.

The Chargers wanted first and third round picks for Jackson, and the Patriots wanted a third for Moss.

Jackson is younger, costs less in salary, and would be better for the long-term, but Moss is a proven NFL veteran.

How could you pass up on that deal?

Well, it seems that the Patriots knew something that the Vikings didn't when they traded Moss, and now it could be the Vikings that are in for major changes.

Coach Brad Childress directly defied the owner's order of keeping Randy Moss on the team, and Brett Favre still doesn't know what to do with the Minnesota offense.

The team is one year removed from an NFC Championship appearance, and they are sitting at 2-5 and in third place in their division.

Things are not looking good in Minnesota, and with a battered Favre, and a defying coach: the organization could be in for major changes.
