Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ resident “pretty mess” and star Erika Jayne celebrated her 51st birthday on Sunday, July 10. It was a welcome distraction from her ongoing legal woes.
Via The Daily Mail, the entertainer was spotted having lunch and drinks with friends at Italian restaurant Lavo Ristorante in West Hollywood. Then, she headed over to the Palihouse Hotel. Erika was seen donning a flowy light blue pantsuit paired with white heels, and her signature platinum blonde hair was flowing down in waves.

Erika took to her Instagram account to post a birthday message with a photo of her younger self, captioning it, “Happy birthday to this feisty kid.”
Fellow Bravo stars also took time to celebrate Erika’s birthday, including Cynthia Bailey and Brad Goreski.
But more importantly, not to be outdone, Erika’s BFF and fellow RHOBH star, Lisa Rinna, shared a tribute to the Thelma to her Louise on Instagram.
Lisa posted a carousel of pictures of her and Erika throughout the years. She also included a video of when Lisa dressed up as Erika for Halloween. She captioned the carousel, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY THELMA!” This was followed b several birthday, party, and kiss emojis.
Meanwhile, Radar Online reports that Erika visited Lavo Ristorante in West Hollywood on Sunday, and she sipped $20 cocktails with a small group of friends. None of her RHOBH co-stars were in the group.
Erika was looking for some sort of levity, even if for one day, as her legal troubles continue to mount.
After having to hand over her pair of diamond earrings in order to help pay off creditors and victims of husband Thomas Girardi’s embezzlement scheme, Erika was recently named in a new $55 million lawsuit by Edelson PC, accusing her of racketeering and concealment of stolen property.
The lawsuit claims that Erika created her company EJ Global “for the purpose of funneling money” to her via Thomas’ law firm, Girardi Keese. The suit also notes that they believe Erika had “specific knowledge” of her husband’s illegal dealings.
