After seven weeks at number two, ‘These Days’, the incredible collaboration from Rudimental, Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen, has finally reached the top of the UK singles chart.

The track marks Rudimental’s third number one single, following on from 2012’s ‘Feel The Love’ with John Newman, and 2013’s ‘Waiting All Night’ featuring Ella Eyre.

Speaking about the news, Rudimental told OfficialCharts.com, “It feels amazing! The fact the fans are still sticking by us and keeping our song in the charts for as long as they have is amazing. A massive thank you to all the fans who are supporting us out there.”

As the track has now reached number one, it also means that Jess Glynne has broken an exciting record. Having topped the charts six times, she is now the British female solo artist with the most UK number one singles. Her number one hits include ‘Rather Be’ with Clean Bandit, ‘My Love’ with Route 94, ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘Not Letting Go’ with Tinie Tempah, ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’ and ‘These Days’.

Speaking about the news, Jess said: “I can’t believe I have reached six Number 1s at this point in my career,” Jess told OfficialCharts.com. “It still feels like I’m at the beginning of everything. I have to thank all the artists that have been involved in all the songs that have reached the Number 1 spot ’cause it’s not just been me.

“I also have thank my fans who have been with me from the beginning and all the new ones who have joined the journey. Now on to round two… Soon come.”

Elsewhere in the charts, George’s Ezra’s ‘Paradise’ has climbed to number two, making it his highest charting single to date. Portugal The Man’s ‘Feel It Still’ and Marshmello & Anne-Marie’s ‘FRIENDS’ remain at number three and four respectively, whilst Lil Dicky and Chris Brown are at number five with ‘Freaky Friday’.

Post Malone and Ty Dolla Sign are at number six with ‘Psycho’, whilst Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey’s collab ‘The Middle’ is at seven. The Greatest Showman’s ‘This Is Me’ is this week’s number eight, whilst Sigala and Paloma Faith break into the top ten, climbing four spots to number nine with ‘Lullaby’. The top 10 is rounded off by last week’s number one, Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’. The track has spent the past nine weeks at the top.
